One of the many things I have been missing is joining memes. When I first started blogging, memes have enabled me to get to know the people behind the blogs I follow. There was also this sense of belongingness as I submitted entries week after week and as I saw how much in common I had with so many others. So, with the start of a new year, I shall endeavor to faithfully join memes again. And, what better way to start off than with an entry about Christmas Gifts!
When we woke the kids up at the stroke of midnight, the first thing we pointed out were the goodies Santa left in their stockings.
We are so thankful to the many Titos and Titas, Lolos and Lolas, and Kuyas and Ates who showered our little ones with gifts. I am most thankful though to my husband who indulged us with the best presents of all.
Little Jade received a Hannah Montana Washburn electric guitar from Santa, a Leap Frog Reader from Papa and Mama, a Princess book, a doll house and Dora accessories among others. The Hannah Montana guitar was what she specifically requested from Santa so when hubby saw one in a guitar shop, he purchased it without second thought. You should have seen the smile on her face when she saw the guitar!
Little Jakei also got his wish from Santa, a Buzz Lightyear toy. He also got a Vtech Laptop, a train set, a Thomas the Train lego set, a Ladybug cuddly pillow (which he was asking for when he saw it in the mall a few days before Christmas) and a Batman shirt. This little boy is so easily pleased and was ecstatic over each present he opened.

We only bought the decors for the Christmas stockings. I was supposed to make them from scratch Christmas 2010 but wasn’t able to make any so this Christmas, we got a couple of craft boxes to decorate the stockings with. 😀

wow, really lovely gifts. love that Buzz Lightyear the most. We’re watching Toy Stories on DVD everyday and every night, Whew! My kids will go wild if they’ll have one of those. and that look jakei’s face, haha. we’re visiting from toy stories.

If you have kids, one thing you should not miss in this occasion is to give them something, preferably a toy. Of course you would not want to buy a toy that your child does not like.
